Former King Shah admitted to Norvic Hospital

KATHMANDU: Former King Gyanendra Shah has been admitted to the Thapathali-based Norvic International Hospital after being diagnosed with heart problem this morning. According to Phani Raj Pathak, Shah’s personal secretary, the former king was detected with clog in the arteries during a regular medical check-up. Doctors have successfully conducted the angiography test. He underwent angioplasty at the Hospital. A medical team led by Dr Yadav Bhatta has been attending the former king.
