URLABARI: A person died and another sustained critical injuries after a motorcycle they were riding on collided head-on with a passenger bus along the East-West Highway in Urlabari Municipality-3 of Morang district on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as the motorcycle rider Chhabi Bhattarai (30) of Tharpur Rural Municipality-4 in Paanchthar district and injured as brother Umesh Bhattarai (24), who was riding pillion. Chhabi breathed his last while undergoing treatment at the Neuro Hospital in Biratnagar, Morang this morning. The critically injured brother is being treated at the same hospital, informed Sub-Inspector Kiran Prasain. The incident occurred when the motorcycle (Me 1 Kha 2180) collided with the bus (Ko 19 Pa 9956) coming from opposite direction  in Urlabari yesterday evening, according to the Urlabari Area Police Office Police have impounded the bus and detained its driver for investigation.
