Magar, Hamal to take part in World C’ships

KATHMANDU: Wushu players Nima Gharti Magar and Deepak Hamal are on Tuesday leaving for Russia to take part in the 14th World Wushu Championships slated for September 26 to October 3 in Kazan. The 12th South Asian Games gold medallist Magar will compete in women’s taulo and Hamal will take part in men’s taulo events. Meanwhile, Martial Arts Organisation Nepal’s President Rajib Maharjan bade farewell to the players and provided them with tracksuit and Rs 13,000.
