KATHMANDU: Nepali Ambassador to Pakistan Sewa Lamsal said she would initiate for the bilateral sporting ties between the two countries for the development of sports. Lamsal said so after she met with newly-elected AIPS-Asia Treasurer Nirajan Rajbanshi, Nepal Sports Journalists Forum General Secretary Prakash Timalsina and Pakistan Sports Writers Federation General Secretary Jahit Faruk Malik in Islamabad on Wednesday. “Pakistan has developed a lot and we can learn a lot of things from them. I’ll try for exchange programmes and friendly matches,” said Lamsal, who added that she would hold a meeting with Nepal cricket team skipper Paras Khadka and other stakeholders and send a proposal to Pakistan Cricket Board.
