KHOTANG: The District Coordination Committee, Khotang has decided to introduce a dress code of the local representatives in the district. The decision — taken during a recent committee meeting — determined a set of Daura Suruwal, Dhaka Topi, and coat with a logo showing two hands holding the country's map and national flag pinned in it as a dress code of male representatives and a set of Chaubandi, Sari, and coat with the same logo for female representatives.

'The efforts aim to help local people and government employees identify local representatives at a glance while on duty', said Babi Chamling, Chief of the District Coordination Committee.

The Committee has written to all local levels including municipalities and rural municipalities of the district in this regard, Chamling further added.
