LALITPUR: A person is injured after being hit by a car in Mahalaxmi Municipality-6 of Lalitpur district on Thursday night, police said. The injured has been identified as local Jivanlal Shrestha (56). According to police, the incident occurred when the car (Ba 9 Cha 6092) hit the pedestrian Shrestha at 8:15 pm yesterday. The injured was rushed to the Gwarko-based BNB Hospital where he is undergoing treatment, informed police. Meanwhile, the Satdobato-based Traffic Police Range has impounded the vehicle and detained its driver for further investigation, said police.
