KATHMANDU: A fire that had erupted in the Share Market building in Putalisadak, Kathmandu early this morning, is now under control. The fire started around 9:45 am this morning at the NIAC education centre based in the commercial building. Clouds of thick smoke billowed after the fire broke out in the building. According to preliminary reports, gas-leak is being coined out as the reason behind the fire. The fire was doused with combined efforts of Nepal Army, KMC and Juddha Baarun Yantra fire engines and personnel. Vehicular movement along Ram Shah Path has been disrupted following the fire incident in the commercial building. The Metropolitan Traffic Police Department has urged the general public to use alternative routes.
