KATHMANDU: Soniya Bhatta, Subodh Mandal and Uttam Pradhan Shrestha won silver medals in the BKSP Judo Tournament in Bangladesh on Wednesday. Bhatta won the medal in women’s below-44kg weight category. Anju Pandey claimed bronze in below-52kg. In men’s category, Mandal won silver in below-50kg and Shrestha bagged the medal in below-55kg. Meanwhile, Nepal won the team championship of the tournament with four gold, three silver and two bronze medals, team manager Ishwor Regmi. On Tuesday, Nepal had won four gold medals and a bronze. India finished second.
