KATHMANDU: The 21st Flora Expo-2018 has been scheduled to take place from April 13 to 16 in Kathmandu.

Floriculture Association Nepal (FAN) is organising the event with the main slogan of 'clean environment and economic prosperity through floriculture'.

According to FAN, there will be 82 stalls in the expo to be held at Exhibition Road, Bhrikutimandap.

The objective of the fair is to share knowledge about floriculture among those interested in the field and to promote, develop and highlight floriculture business in Nepal, FAN president Kumar Kasaju Shrestha said.

Floriculture business, which started in Nepal some six decades ago, has a good market at present and has been expanded to 41 districts. Over 43,000 people are associated with this business.
