Pokhara, June 17 Minister of Federal Affairs and General Administration Lal Babu Pandit today said that the government could deploy its employees anywhere. Speaking at a programme organised by Kaski chapter of Federation of Nepali Journalists in Pokhara today, Pandit said employees had to be responsible and should go to the duty station assigned by the government. He said civil servants should not be dissatisfied when the government deployed them to remote places and be happy when they are sent to urban areas. Stating that the administrative structure of the government was undergoing a transition, he said administrative employees had been managed in 95 per cent of the local levels. “Employees for the remaining local levels will be managed soon,” he added. Minister Pandit warned of action against employees who refused to go to their duty stations. He informed that employees needed at all levels would be managed through the Public Service Commission soon. Minister Pandit said that the government employees will not be allowed to work for I/NGOs for  two years after their retirement. He added that if government employees were allowed to work for I/NGOs confidential information could be misused. He said the government was planning to involve retired employees in development work.
