KATHMANDU: With the temperature plummeting in all parts of the country, areas surrounding Rara Lake (9,810 ft) are covered knee-deep in snow, a local entrepreneur reports. 'Life in the mountainous districts of Mugu, Humla among others has been hit hard. However, locals despite having to cope up with the weather are relieved as they hope the snow will aid to growth of recently sowed the seasonal crops.' local Entrepreneur Debi Krishna Rokaya said. 'Apart from the locals, few groups of tourists have also taken the opportunity to witness the weather phenomena,' Rokaya who also runs Rara-Murma Homestay informed.
