Ramechhap, March 13 A primary health centre in Manthali Municipality, Ramechhap, has resumed caesarean section service after a year. Cesarean delivery also known as C-section is a surgical procedure used to deliver a baby through incisions in the abdomen and uterus. The health centre had discontinued C-section service a year ago due to lack of doctors. The centre could not get doctors for a long time due to lack of coordination between District Health Office, Ramechhap and Manthali Municipality. Finally, the service was resumed after Manthali Municipality took the responsibility of running the health centre, including management of human resources and budget, from yesterday. Mayor of Manthali Municipality Ramesh Basnet said C-section service was resumed at the centre after it got the required number of health workers.
