6,291 students appearing in SEE from Tanahun

Damauli, March 15 As many as 6,229 examinees are appearing in this year’s Secondary Education Examination from Tanahun. The SEE is beginning on March 24. According to Education Development and Coordination Unit, Tanahun, 6,168 candidates from general category and 126 from technical category are sitting for SEE. A total of 185 students from the exempted category are also appearing in the examination. Last year, 6,510 candidates had participated in the SEE from the district.  Of them, 6,295 were from regular, 133 from technical and 92 from exempted category. Out of 6,357 students, who had submitted their forms for the SEE, 66 were disqualified. Examination Department Chief and Deputy Secretary Dilliraman Bhattarai said 66 candidates were disqualified as their attendance was below 75 per cent and they had not submitted examination fees. As many as 24 exam centres have been fixed in Tanahun this year. Education Development and Coordination Unit Tanahun Chief Damodar Acharya said preparations for the SEE had reached the final stage.
