Police have arrested 15 individuals from multiple districts in possession of illegal drugs, including brown sugar, गांजा (marijuana), and controlled substances.
In Chitwan, a man was arrested with injections of buprenorphine, phenargan and diazepam. In Jhapa, seven individuals were held with brown sugar in separate incidents.
Similarly, two persons were arrested in Bara with nearly 9.7 kg of suspected marijuana, while four were detained in Mahottari with around 75 grams of brown sugar. One individual was also arrested in Kanchanpur with a small quantity of the substance.
Police said investigations into the cases are ongoing.
