12 Nepali girls rescued from New Delhi

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) said it has rescued twelve Nepali girls from assorted locations in New Delhi of India. In a statement, DCW quoted one of the rescued girls as saying, an agent had lured her to the Indian capital with a promise of getting her a job in Dubai of the United Arab Emirates. After DCW member Kiran Negi received a complaint about these Nepali girls being held in captivity in two places, two teams rushed to Najafgarh area. Subsequently, the team rescued twelve girls. The rescued girls claimed that they had given Rs 50,000 to Rs 200,000 to their agents to get them jobs in the Gulf countries.
