POKHARA: The government of Gandaki Province has decided to provide a support of Rs 10 million to the storm affected families of Bara and Parsa districts. The relief will be provided to victims of the natural disaster through the government of Province 2. Spokesperson of Gandaki Province government and Provincial Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development, Ram Sharan Basnet informed that a Cabinet meeting today decided to provide the fund to Province 2 government for reconstruction of houses of the storm affected people. The amount would be transferred from the disaster management fund of the province to the account of Province 2 government. Meanwhile, the Cabinet also decided to recommend the ending of the winter session of provincial assembly on April 20, to the governor of the province. The session had begun on January 7.
