Rautahat FNJ blacklists 14 journalists

Rautahat, April 28:

Fourteen journalists working in Rautahat have been blacklisted for going against the democratic movement of the seven political parties.

A joint meeting of the Rautahat chapter of the Federation of Nepalese Journalists (FNJ) and the joint people’s movement coordination committee, Rautahat, took the decision today.

The blacklisted journalists include district-based FNJ vice-president Om Prakash Acharya, secretary Rabindra Mandal, treasurer Abashesh Pandey and members Noor Alam Ansari, Shreeman Narayan Mishra, Binay Lal Das and Rabindra Prasad Shah, among others, a statement issued by the FNJ said. It said the scribes’ FNJ membership will be cancelled.

They will be punished after the list is sent to the central office, the statement, signed by the president of the FNJ, Rautahat chapter, Bibekananda Mishra, said.
