KATHMANDU: Nepal national football team will play against Jordan in the fourth away match of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Preliminary Competition and 2023 AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers on Tuesday. The two teams have met twice in the past, both in the 2018 World Cup Qualifiers. Nepal held Jordan to a 1-1 draw at the Dasharath Stadium after facing a humiliating 9-0 loss in the away fixture. In the current qualifiers, Nepal suffered a 7-0 defeat at the hands of Kuwait before beating Chinese Taipei 2-0. Nepal then faced a 5-0 defeat against Australia in Canberra last week. Nepal have three points from three matches, while Australia lead the Group B table with six points from two games. Kuwait and Jordan have four each, while Chinese Taipei are at the bottom with two losses.
