KATHMANDU, APRIL 21

The price of gold set a new record in the domestic market on Monday, continuing its streak of historic highs.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded at Rs 191,000 per tola. This marks an increase of Rs 1,200 from Sunday's price of Rs 189,800 per tola.

The latest rate also surpasses the previous record set last Thursday by Rs 400 per tola.

Meanwhile, the price of silver remained unchanged from Sunday, trading at the same rate.
