RAUTAHAT, JANUARY 4 Samata Policy Programme today handed over educational materials to students from grades I to V of 17 community schools at Durgabhagawati Rural Municipality in Rautahat. The rural municipality organised a programme today at Saraswati Secondary School, Piparabhalohiya, where District Coordination Committee Chief Ramekwal Raya Yadav handed over education materials to students. According to Durgabhagawati Rural Municipality, education materials were bought with the support of the local level and Samata Policy Programme in the current fiscal year. Yadav said the materials were handed over to children to motivate them to go to schools and study. Chief District Officer Indra Dev Yadav said the policy programme was implemented with the slogan of compulsory education and access to everyone. He said uniform, bag, copy and pencil, among other materials, were distributed. He encouraged guardians to play a key role in sending their wards to schools for their children’s bright future. Nepali Congress Rautahat President Krishna Prasad Yadav said educational materials would motivate kids. Rural municipality Chairman Arun Kumar Sah said educational materials would be distributed to more than 3,000 students in the first phase. He added that educational materials would be given to 4,500 students in the rural municipality. The materials will be provided to students from Grade VI to VIII in the second phase from tomorrow.
