KATHMANDU: Travelling Film South Asia 2006 will come to an end on July 16 with the screening of five documentaries.

The Life and Times of a lady from Avadh: Hima, is a documentary by Pakistani freelance filmmaker on a 90-year-old lady, exploring her life and traces the extraordinary time in the history of Awadh after the decline of the Mughal Empire in the 18th century.

Sunset Bollywood is a documentary by Hong Kong-based Indian filmmaker. She has explored the plight of actors in Bombay’s glamorous celluloid world. Becoming number one is easy but staying there is a difficult job. Komal Tolani has tried to explore what happens when the light goes out after stardom.

It follows three actors, each one unable to accept failure, craving the narcotic high of celebrity.
