NEW DELHI: India and the European Union (EU) have welcomed the ongoing peace process in Nepal. A joint statement issued on Friday night welcomed the peace process and restoration of democracy in Nepal. Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh is on a visit to Finland, the president- nation of the EU. The statement said: “We welcome the ongoing process, which started with the objective of bringing about political stability in Nepal.”
