LONDON: Troubled pop superstar George Michael performed a special concert to pay tribute to nurses here who took care of his late mother before her death. Michael’s mother, Lesley Panos, died of cancer almost 10 years ago and Michael had promised that he would put on a free show for the nurses, reports contactmusic.com. He told the audience of almost 2,000 nurses, “Thank you to every single one of you. I salute you and this evening is 100 per cent me saying ‘Thank you’ to you.”
