CNI, HAN hail new development

Kathmandu, January 17:
Hotel Association Nepal (HAN) has welcomed the promulgation of the interim constitution and the formation of the interim legislature.
In a press release, HAN has expressed that the new development has not only sketched a political roadmap but also paved a clear path for socio-economic transformation, identifying and exploiting economic potentials.
It has also urged for a political consensus on a minimum common economic agenda for the greater benefit of common people. HAN has underlined the need for economic reform, a conducive environment for investment, special economic zone and a massive investment on infrastructure, as a prerequisite for advancing the economy.
Meanwhile, hailing the promulgation of the Interim Constitution and the Interim Legislature as a milestone in the history, the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) has expressed that the new development would pave path for making new Nepal. It further says that all should now concentrate on rapid economic development for socio-economic transformation of the country. CNI has also urged for a common economic agenda based on all party consensus.
