The Trekking Agents Association of Nepal (TAAN) organised an afforestation programme at TAAN forest at Kashibhanjyang of Tukuchanala VDC in Kabhre district on the occasion of the 30th World Environment Day today. Joint secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Shankar Prasad Koirala, TAAN president Dipak Mahat and executive chief of the Nepal Tourism Board Tek Bahadur Dangi jointly initiatited the programme. Two thousand saplings were planted on the occasion.
