I started reading at a very early age. I was about seven when I started reading comics. As time passed by I switched on to magazines and newspapers. And then I started reading novels.

The most wonderful thing about reading is that you can use your imagination. If you are watching TV your mind will concentrate only on what is being shown but when you are reading you create a picture of whatever it is that you are reading. It’s also a very good way of developing one’s language. Reading is not only a pastime as we generally think but it is also a good way to develop your knowledge and intelligence.

We all have different tastes, so to truly explore the magic of reading we need to choose a book of our taste. If we do so then it will open up the door to a whole new world for us. Finally, I would like to advice everyone reading this article to pick up a book and discover a world filled with information, knowledge, joy and recreation.
