MUMBAI:
In the competitive world of films, however there are enough actors who are always willing to help each other. Getting the support of seniors is something that the newcomers have always valued. Recently, actor Ritiesh Deshmukh who isn’t considered as the best dancer in the industry came to newcomer Ruslaan Mumtaz’s rescue on the sets of Nikhil Advani’s Jaane Kahan se Aayi Hai.
On the first day shoot a nervous Ruslaan kept forgetting his dance steps. This was quite unexpected, as the newbie has been trained under the Shiamak Davar’s group. And to add to his miseries, he had just recovered from a nasty fracture.
“But all thanks to Ritiesh Deshmukh,” he says. Ruslaan further adds, “RD saw that I was damn uncomfortable with the steps. I mean the choreography was great but it wasn’t my style.” That’s when Ritesh asked choreographers Bosco and Caeser to change them. I think it was such a nice and thoughtful gesture.” What made it more meaningful was the fact that it happened on the first day of the shoot when a nervous Ruslaan needed to be calmed down! — Agencies
