KHOTANG: All the 13 people who have gone missing after landslides since August 30 were declared dead. A meeting of District Natural Disaster Management Committee on Tuesday declared them dead. The committee also decided to provide Rs 25,000 as compensation to late Ranadhoj Karki’s family. Ishwor is only one of the nine-member Karki family to escape the calamity as he was in foreign employment. Purna Karki’s family will also be provided the amount as all the members were buried in the landslide.
