Fiat to launch Punto Pure

KATHMANDU: Life Automobile, authorised distributor of Fiat cars is all set to launch the Fiat Punto Pure at the NADA Auto Show 2016. The Italian hatchback is an entry level vehicle with impressive features like strong European build, spacious interior, high ground clearance and premium design. Suraj Manandhar, Business Head of Life Automobile said, “Punto Pure is the best option entry-level vehicle. It can be the first car for those who aspire to switch to a four-wheeler.”

Powered by a 1.2 L FIRE Petrol engine, the hatchback delivers maximum power of 68 PS at 6000 rpm and peak torque of 96 Nm at 2500 rpm. Mated to slick five speed manual transmissions, the car offers best in class mileage of 15.7 kmpl. The hatchback has a fuel tank capacity of 45 litres and offers an impressive ground clearance of 195 mm.

Punto Pure comes with standard 14-inch steel wheels and black coloured Outer Rear View Mirrors (ORVMs), rear fog lamps and door handles. The Fiat Punto Pure has well engineered wheel suspension with McPherson Struts, hydraulic power steering, helical coil springs and double acting telescopic dampers with stabiliser bar to provide exceptional control.

The five-seater hatchback is equipped with features like follow me headlamps, height adjustable front headrest, rear seat head restraint, body coloured bumpers and door handles. The Fiat Punto Pure has integrated passive safety features like high tensile steel frame, crumple zone or reinforced bodywork and fire prevention system in which the fuel supply cuts off in case of accidents.

In Nepal, Punto Pure can be available in three variants — Exotica Red, Hip Hop Black and White. The car will be available at a price of Rs 2.285 million.
