New SsangYong Rexton launched

IMS group, the sole authorised distributor of SsangYong for Nepal launched new SsangYong Rexton on December 13, at an event held in its showroom at Naxal.

With the theme of ‘Majestic Thrilling’, this new SUV is equipped with nine airbags including knee-airbag for the driver and side-airbags in the rear. Constructed using quad-frame body structure using 1.5Gpa-grade high-strength steel, this premium SUV also features crash zone box that provides safety for the passengers from front or rear collision. The combination of a front wheel double wishbone and a rear wheel multi-link independent suspension ensures a high level of driving stability and riding feel.

It features electronic brake-force distribution with anti-lock brakes, an anti-rollover protection, brake assist system, hill assist system,hill descent control, all disc brakes and daytime running lamps (DRL). It also comes with an advanced driver assistance systems that include Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Change Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Detection and a Front Vehicle Start Alarm to ensure best possible safety for the passengers.

An advanced infotainment system is installed in the car, that includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with device mirroring, a  navigation displayed in HD on a wide 9.20-inch screen. With excellent connectivity, it also ensures quality entertainment with an 8-inch HD screen and infinity’s premium 10-speaker system, auto door closing, a high performing dual zone fully automated air conditioner, 220V inverter in rear and a smart tailgate for loading and unloading of cargo.

New Rexton comes with a choice of 6-speed manual and 7-speed automatic transmission. They are priced at Rs 11,199,999 and Rs 11,999,000 respectively. It comes with a service warranty of three-years, up to 60,000-km. With multi-link independent suspension and 224-mm clearance, this SUV is likely to win over the bends and bumpy roads of Nepal.
