KATHMANDU: The 14th Handicraft Trade Fair and 12th Craft Competition is going to be organised from November 20 to 29, at Bhrikutimandap in the Capital.

Federation of Handicraft Associations of Nepal is organising the fair. Different metal, wooden, and leather handicraft products and jewellery from 20 districts would be displayed in the exhibition.

The fair is being organised to develop and promote local handicraft products. The slogan for the fair is ‘Handicraft: Possibility of Prosperity’, said Rishi Ram Suvedi, FHAN’s deputy director general. Such handicraft products worth about Rs five billion were exported in the last fiscal from the country.
