KATHMANDU: Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Ltd (SCBNL) has been named the winner of ‘2016 Euromoney Awards for Excellence’ for Nepal by the Euromoney, a leading global publication in financial markets. The bank has won this award in succession. The Euromoney Awards for Excellence, which was announced recently, continues to be the most respected awards in the financial services industry. Euromoney magazine was created in 1969 to cover the re-emergence of the international cross-border capital markets and is recognised as a prime magazine of the wholesale financial world. Building on its established criteria of past years, Euromoney combines quantitative data with informed and important subjective judgements to honour those institutions that have brought the highest levels of service, innovation and expertise to their customers. The recognition of SCBNL has come as a result of its ability to deliver on its strategy, progress on its digital agenda, its ability to create differentiation and for maintaining reasonable business momentum despite challenges in 2015.
