KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 14

The 47th annual general meeting of the shareholders of Soaltee Hotel Ltd has successfully concluded today, in which nine board of directors were appointed comprising five directors appointed from the Institutional shareholders and three directors elected from the general public shareholders and one independent director.

Dinesh Bahadur Bista, Ravi Bhakta Shrestha, Rajesh Kazi Shrestha and Jaya Rajya Lakshmi Shah were re-appointed as directors to represent institutional shareholder, Soaltee Enterprises Pvt Ltd in the board of directors of the company, as per a media release.

Ganesh Bahadur Chand was appointed as the director to represent institutional shareholder, Nepal Airlines Corporation in the board of directors of the company.

Similarly, Sashi Raj Pandey, Niranjan Kumar Tibrewala and Prakash Bikram Khatri were elected unopposed as directors to represent the general public shareholders of the company.

Similarly, Deepak Raj Joshi was appointed as an independent director of Soaltee Hotel Ltd.

Further, as unanimously decided by the 237th meeting of the newly constituted board of directors of the company held immediately after the 47th AGM of the company, Dinesh Bahadur Bista has been re-appointed as the executive chairperson of the company for a four-year term.

Soaltee Hotel Ltd is a Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd listed public limited company established in accordance with Companies Act, 2021 of Nepal, its shares are registered shares with the Nepal Securities Board.

Soaltee Hotel Ltd owns and operates a deluxe five-star hotel, The Soaltee Kathmandu, an inflight catering division, the Soaltee Gate Gourmet and Horizon Lounge at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

The Soaltee Hotel is a deluxe five-star hotel with 285 rooms, ranging from deluxe clubs to suites. The company's flight catering division is operated under a technical assistance pact with the internationally renowned flight catering company Gate Gourmet.

Soaltee Hotel has been making significant contribution towards development of Nepal's tourism sector for the past 55 years.
