KATHMANDU, JANUARY 12
The Advertising Association of Nepal has formed its 11th executive committee during the 24th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held at Hotel Aranya Boutique in Kathmandu on January 7.
The AGM nominated Sudip Thapa as President, Ujaya Shakya as the first vice president, Pankaj Pradhan as the second vice president, Krishna Prasad Ghimire as the general secretary, and Arun Kaji Sthapit as joint treasurer. All nominations were approved unanimously.
Additionally, Sajan Shrestha was elected as Treasurer. Similarly, other seven members, RC Regmi, Santosh Silwal Giri, Dependra Poudel, Roshan Poudel, Manish Adhikari, Prabhat Rimal, and Sajan Shrestha were also elected.
The committee will remain in office for the next three years.
The new president and his team took the oath after the election from the chief election officer. Thapa expressed heartfelt thanks to all members, the advertising fraternity, and the media for their support. He also emphasized the importance of close coordination and collaboration among all stakeholders in the advertising industry to enhance the advertising sector.
