Proton Nepal has highlighted the advanced AEGIS Short Blade Battery technology powering its full-size electric SUV, EMAS 7, which is now available in the Nepali market through authorized distributor Jagdamba Motors Pvt. Ltd. Known as Malaysia's top-selling EV, the EMAS 7 has been gaining strong traction in Nepal.

The AEGIS Short Blade Battery, based on lithium iron phosphate (LFP) technology, offers higher energy density, longer driving range, and improved durability, according to the company. The battery supports fast charging, enabling a charge from 30 percent to 80 percent in just 20 minutes, and features enhanced fire-resistant safety design.

With an optimized battery layout that maximizes cabin space and an NEDC-certified range of up to 492 km and 585 km, the EMAS 7 is positioned for both urban and long-distance travel, reaffirming Proton Nepal's focus on safe and sustainable electric mobility solutions.
