KATHMANDU: The first-ever international Apache Owners Group (AOG)'s 'Marquee Ride' was flagged up on Thursday amid a special function held at the premises of Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) head office in Kathmandu.

The function was attended by several renowned personalities, including Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NTB Dhananjay Regmi and CEO of Jagdamba Motors Deepak Kumar Agrawal, as per a media release.

The international ride that is slated to continue for 21 days entered the Indian territory via Raxual on Friday. This is the longest ride ever organised by TVS Nepal which is estimated to be more than 6,500 kilometres long.

According to the company, more than 500 Apache riders applied to participate in the ride. The ride aims to strengthen the bond between humans and machines with various entertainment activities and games.

The company is claiming that the quality and performance of the bikes will be tested amid the ride that is featuring 160 series, 200 series and RR 310 category of Apache bike.

The sole distributor of TVS' two-wheelers in Nepal, Jagdamba Motors Pvt Ltd (JMPL) formed AOG - a forum of Apache owners - to celebrate biking enthusiasm through different engaging and entertaining events.
