KATHMANDU: Entrepreneurs’ Organisation Nepal Chapter, in partnership with Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs’ Forum (NYEF), has announced applications open for Global Student Entrepreneurship Award (GSEA) Nepal. GSEA is a premier awards programme for student entrepreneurs, according to a media release issued on Thursday. The Nepal finals of GSEA is being organised on December 15 in Kathmandu. The application deadline for Nepal finals is November 15. Eligible students must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate (Bachelor’s) student of a recognised college or university. Students need to be responsible for the operation of a for-profit (revenue generating) business that has been operating for no less than six consecutive months. Selected students will have the opportunity to present their business and entrepreneurial journey in front of a panel of entrepreneur judges. The winner of this competition will receive Rs 50,000 in cash prize and attend GSEA finals in Germany to compete with world’s top student entrepreneurs and have a chance to win over $40,000 in cash and donated business services.
