BDFI brings promotional scheme
Pokhara, November 17:
Business Development Financial Institution (BDFI) — a development bank — has decided to offer a diamond ring worth Rs 10,000 free to customers depositing over Rs 350, 000 in fixed account. Krishna Raj Adhikari, chief executive officer of the Bank, at the second annual general meeting of the bank organised on Monday announced the scheme that has come to the effect from yesterday. Adhikari said that the scheme is for a limited time period.
Similarly, two savings account holder will get one diamond ring each on the basis of draw every three months with 5.5 per cent interest rate on daily balance. The bank has started its banking service since April this year. It was also informed that the bank provides different kinds of loan for business and production sectors. The bank also claimed to have collected Rs 110 million and invested Rs 115 million in first six month of its operations.
The bank also provides foreign exchange and remittance services services to its clients. It registered profits — more than eight per cent of its target — and investment more than 28 per cent of its target. The bank has decided to open evening counter from yesterday for the Also for the convenience of its customers. Naresh Shankar Palikhe, chairman of the management committee, on the occasion, informed that the bank will float shares soon.
