ADBL’s new service

KATHMANDU: Agricultural Development Bank Ltd (ADBL) branch office Budhanilkantha has started banking transactions from May 17. According to ADBL’s press statement, general manager of the bank Harigopal Gorkhali inaugurating the programme distributing ‘good borrowers’ certificate to 37 people. Gorkhali said that the bank would expand its services as per its strategies and policies across the country. — HNS

EU, S Korea FTA talks

SEOUL: South Korea and the EU have agreed to hold preliminary talks that could lead to the establishment of a FTA. Talks could start as early as next month according to the Financial Times but South Korean and EU officials said there was no fixed date. — AFP
