Meet postponed

KATHMANDU: The donors’ meet planned by ministry of finance (MoF) for Friday has been postponed to next week. Rameshwore Khanal, chief at foreign aid and coordination division at MoF, informed that the meet has been postponed as the ministry is still working on a ‘white paper’ on the economy. According to MoF officials, the ‘white paper’ will be discussed at the parliament, probably on Sunday. The ‘white paper’ would be discussed with the donor community, hoped ministry officials. —HNS

Pilot training in Nepal

KATHMANDU: For the first time, Shivani Air Pvt Ltd (SAPL) has announced that it would start a pilot training in Nepal. It has stated that it got the licence to run a pilot training programme from the ministry of tourism and civil aviation. The company says that it will start the training within two months. For the pilot training, four aircrafts would used for training pilots. —HNS
