CFL posts profit

KATHMANDU: Crystal Finance Ltd (CFL) has reported a net profit of Rs 10.1 million in the fiscal year 2004-05, which is an increment by 50.61 per cent against the previous fiscal, states a press release. According to Ram Prasad Hada, chief executive officer of CFL, the company collected Rs 461.23 million deposits and investment a loan of Rs 459.79 million during the period. — HNS

NFTA hails pact

KATHMANDU: Nepal Foreign Trade Association (NFTA) has welcomed the accords reached between Nepal and China. The pact on utilization of Tibetan hig-hways for cargo transportation by Nepal, multiple business visa for the Nepali tra-ders, mutual visa exemption for diplomatic and official passport holders as well as trans-frontier pasturing of livestock by the border inhabitants will help boost bilateral trade. — HNS
