ILAM: Nepal Tourism Board, Ilam DDC and Ilam Concern Forum jointly held an interaction on ‘Promotion of Tourism in Ilam’ here on Saturday. Tourism entrepreneurs, chiefs of different branch offices, employees of the board and media persons took part at the interaction. UAE firm bids higher

Islamabad: The Emirates Telecommunications Corporation (Etisalat) has offered the highest bid of $2.6 billion for a 26 per cent stake in state-owned Pakistan Telecommunications Company Ltd. Three bidders took part, with Etisalat offering $1.96 per share, while Sing Tel and China Mobile offered 88 cents and $1.06. — HNS
