KATHMANDU: Big Mimi noodles scheme introduced by Fast Foods Nepal Pvt Ltd, one of the subsidiaries of Chaudhary Group, is getting popular day by day. According to a press statement issued by Chaudhary Group today, the Big Mimi scheme named Ek Ra Ek Aghara (11) has gained momentum in recent days. Those consumers who get coupons numbered 11,111 and 1,11,111 will be eligible for prizes, said the statement. Various individuals from Ilam, Jhapa and Kathmandu have already got their prizes with these denominations, said the statement. The company claimed that in six months’ times, large number of prizes have already been distributed to consumers. —HNS
Goods confiscated
NAWALPARASI: A patrolling team from District Police office, Nawalparasi confiscated goods worth about Rs 100,000 from Parasi bazaar. The goods had been brought in from India illegally. These include sugar, fertilizer, clothing and motor parts, according to SP Ram Kumar Khanal. The goods were later on submitted to Bhairahawa customs office. —RSS
