AIMA chief to visit Nepal:
KATHMANDU: Sunil Alagh, the chairperson of the All India Management Association (AIMA), is scheduled to visit Kathmandu later this week to attend the 24th national convention of Management Association of Nepal (MAN). Alagh will deliver a keynote speech on ‘managing in the era of uncertainty’. He is also the chairman of SKA Advisors Pvt Ltd, a business advisory/ consultancy service with an emphasis on marketing and branding strategies. — HNS
Tanahu rice output falls:
DAMAULI: Winter paddy output in the Tanahu district has decreased this year. District Agriculture Office, Tanahu, informed that paddy production decreased because of poor rainfall. According to the office, 41,891 metric tonnes of paddy was produced on 13,400 hectares of land. — RSS
Coffee crop lures farmers:
PARBAT: Farmers of Parbat are being attracted towards coffee farming after the local production found an international market. Coffee farming had started in the district in 2035 BS. Farmers have been lured towards coffee cultivation after Coffee Entrepreneurs’ Association made arrangements for marketing to the international markets. The association exported coffee worth Rs 175,000 to Japan and Holland last year. — RSS
