Nepal at int’l tourism fair

KATHMANDU: A Nepali delegation is taking part in the CMT International Tourism Fair, being held from January 15 to 23 in Stuttgart of Germany. The Nepali team is led by Deep Kumar Upadhaya, minister for culture, tourism and civil aviation. Nepal’s participation at the event is coordinated by Nepal German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NGCCI). Asian Trekking, Last Frontier Trekking, Nature Trail Trekking and Expedition, Royal Mount Pvt Ltd, Jyoti Garments Industries and Everest Garment Industries are taking part in the fair. — HNS

OPEC pumping more oil

CARACAS: OPEC is pumping at least one million barrels of oil a day above its official quota and Venezuela said it would support a cut in output if necessary. The OPEC is slated to meet in Vienna on January 30. — AP
