Pokhrel, a resident of Damak-10 of Jhapa district, met with an accident in Chulachuli of Ilam district. RBB strategy meeting
KATHMANDU: Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB)’s three-day strategic workshop concluded here on Monday. Around 34 branch managers participated in the workshop targetted at improving financial health and service delivery. SAARC trade fair
KATHMANDU: Nepal will participate in the forthcoming SAARC trade fair in Bhutan, according to Trade and Export Promotion Center (TEPC) read. TEPC said 18 private companies and their products — handicrafts, silver, copper and metal jewellery, metal work and ceramics — will join the trade fair in Thimpu from September 11 to 14. — HNS
Unicom, Apple deal
BEIJING: Mobile phone operator China Unicom has won an exclusive three-year deal to sell Apple iPhones in China, the Wall Street Journal reported. The operator will buy iPhones from Apple on a wholesale basis as the deal does not include revenue sharing. China Unicom had 141 million users at July-end . — Agencies
