BoAN’s new branch

KATHMANDU: Bank of Asia Nepal Ltd inaugurated its 11th branch office at Chetrapati on Monday. The bank registered a deposit of Rs 5.5 billion and granted loan Rs 5.11 billion till January 13, according to a press statement. The bank will branch offices in Samakhushi, Maharajgunj, Bouddha and two more places in Kathmandu valley and Dharan, Narayanghat, Pokhara, Butwal and Nepalgunj. — HNS

Kist’s new outlet

KATHMANDU: Kist Merchant Banking and Finance Ltd opened its 16th branch office at Pokhara on Monday. Kamal Gnawali, managing director of the company, said it will upgrade to an A-Class commercial bank. It is plans to open 20 branch offices. — HNS

KDBL’s profits

KATHMANDU: Kasthmandap Development Bank Ltd (KDBL) registered an operating profit of Rs 7.44 million, according to its half-yearly report for the fiscal year 2008-09. It will open branch offices at Pokhara, Narayanghat and is planning to launch ATM counters at Gongabu and Chabahil in Kathmandu, said a press release. — HNS
