KATHMANDU: Nepal SBI Bank inaugurated its 18th branch at Damauli in Tanahun district on Tuesday. The bank has seven branches within the valley and it is planning to open seven more branches at Surkhet, Ghorahi, Tamghas, Tansen, Hetauda, Ithahari and Ilam . — HNS

SBL turns seven

KATHMANDU: Siddhartha Bank Ltd (SBL) completed six years of operations on Wednesday. The bank posted an operating profit of Rs 155 million and collected a total deposit of Rs 11.3 billion in the first five months of the current fiscal. It has 10 branches and plans to open 10 more. — HNS

NLIC in Ghorahi

KATHMANDU: Nepal Life Insurance Company (NLIC) Ltd inaugurated its 13th branch at Ghorahi

in Dang district on Wednesday. The company will inaugurate eight more branches by the end of 2065 BS, said a press release. — HNS

NICCI condemns murder

PM inaugurates fair

BUTWAL: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ on Wednesday inaugurated Industrial Trade Fair and Tourism Promotion Festival in Butwal. The fair that will last till January 4, is held with the theme of ‘The basis of Economic Development: Agriculture, Tourism, Industry and Trade’. Around 5,00,000 visitors are expected to visit 350 stalls in the fair that is considered the biggest in the western region. Butwal Chambers of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) have jointly organised it. — RSS
