Fertiliser crunch

DHANGADI: Farmers preparing for the winter crop, are worried at the shortage of fertilizer. Earlier, they had to use low quality fertilizer smuggled from India after the Agriculture Input Company Limited stopped selling fertilizer two years ago. The farmers are hit hard as even low-quality smuggled fertilizer is not available. Price of fertilizer has also shot up, said farmer BK Chaudhary. — RSS

TCCI in a lather

TULSIPUR: Tulsipur Chambers of Commerce and Industry (TCCI) has announced an agitation from Friday saying truck entrepreneurs of Rapti zone are still continuing with the syndicate system. TCCI chairman Dipendra Kumar Khatri said the programmes of protest would be announced on Saturday. — RSS
