Monte Carlo retail bid

Kathmandu: Monte Carlo, a premium fashionwear brand from the Nahar Group, is focusing on retail expansion. Currently, 85 stores are operational and by November 2008 the company plans to expand to 100 plus stores throughout the country. The network of EBOs mainly constitutes company-managed stores in A-class cities and through franchisee network in B-class cities. The brand plans to open 15 flagship stores throughout the country. Monte Carlo has two stores in Kathmandu. It offers ready to wear apparel for the youth. With its casuals, denims, men’s and ladies’ casual wear and accessories apart from trendy pullovers and jackets, it has created a niche market. The brand is equipped with total in-house manufacturing facilities. — HNS
